Following retirement, Ray and Greta had many adventures together, traveling, and going back and forth between Florida, where they had a winter home, and Missouri. Ray came back home, following his military service, and enrolled in college in Connecticut. He discharged from the military as a sergeant. Raymond Arthur Ross was born on July 1, 1943, in Rochester, New York.
